L - Love For Yourself
Accepting all the "shoulds" thrown at us by our so-called society and blindly announcing them as our "musts" is like gradually seeing our individuality elude us and at the end of it all, we do what we all are good at... blaming the society, our financial limitations, our parents, our friend circle and whoever possible including God. We all need to understand that we cannot ask the world to accept and love us if we ourselves fail to do the same.
We cannot survive without our electronic devices for even half an hour to enjoy the nature around us, to reflect back to what we like and what have we achieved but we complain when someone does not spend time with us when we expect them to. How do we expect people to enjoy our company when we ourselves don't?
We don't mind staying up till late to wish a friend for their birthday at 12:00 am but we cannot push ourselves to sleep early to run a marathon on a weekend. Another proof that self-love is less than the love that we have for others around us.
Great leaders, most established entrepreneurs, they all know that loving yourself is the first step in recognizing yourself. "You" are important than anything or anyone else in the world. If you do not fall in love with yourself now, you will soon fall out of love with everyone else around you.
